Focus & Scope

UTP Press welcomes manuscript submissions across the following categories:

• Authored Book – A manuscript written solely or jointly by author(s) centered on a single main topic or idea.
• Chapter Book – A scholarly manuscript based on research, experiments, or standards of practice applicable within a discipline, with individual chapters contributed by different authors.
• Edited Book – A collection of unpublished academic articles written by multiple authors on a shared subject or theme, or a compilation of unpublished articles by a single author on the same subject or theme.
• Textbook/Module/Manual – A written text on a specific subject that includes explanations, notes, discussions, exercises, and sample answers to support student learning and understanding.
• Proceeding – A collection of reviewed seminar or conference papers published during or after the conference.

In line with UTP's strategic priorities, UTP Press places particular emphasis on manuscripts that advance Energy Security, Sustainable Living, and Regenerative Futures, alongside other areas of scholarly and industry-relevant significance. All submissions are expected to demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, and high value and impact within their respective fields, and are subject to peer review prior to acceptance and publication.
